Krier & Co. Media began with Katie—her love for people, storytelling, and a deep desire to build something of her own. After graduating from her media program and working at a local TV station in Tyler, Texas, Katie quickly realized she wanted more than a traditional career path. She wanted work that felt personal, creative, and rooted in community.

After transitioning into corporate marketing, Katie began freelancing in social media management on the side—often late nights, early mornings, and weekends fueled by passion and grit. What started as a small leap of faith slowly grew into a vision she couldn’t ignore.

Her very first client was Savanna, and that relationship changed everything. What began as a working partnership quickly became a shared mission: to help East Texas businesses tell their stories with authenticity and heart. Savanna’s organizational strengths and aligned values made her the perfect partner as the business grew beyond a one-woman operation.
